Frank Griffin
Frank Griffin arrived in the U.S. just after celebrating New Year’s Eve 1989 in Berlin where he helped knock the wall down. Soon after arriving, he survived a bad motorcycle wreck in San Diego. Hardly able to move, he made California his new home.
After a year of recovery, Griffin, who had been a rock and roll photographer for nearly three decades, started working day rates for the tabloids, Enquirer, Star and Globe. In 1997, he partnered up with Randy Bauer and formed Bauer-Griffin, one of the leading celebrity photo agencies.
