Bruce Jaffe


As former corporate VP for corporate development, Bruce Jaffe was responsible for evaluation and execution of Microsoft’s acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures, and managing the venture integration activities. While running corporate development, he managed over 50 acquisitions, including aQuantive, Tellme, Danger, Softricity and FAST.

Previously Bruce served as corporate VP and CFO of MSN, and as executive board member of Microsoft’s MSNBC and MSN joint ventures. Prior to CFO, he served in MSN as corporate VP, business development. Bruce joined Microsoft in 1995 as a member of the corporate strategy group, responsible for supplying economic analysis and strategy for various Microsoft business units. In 1999, Microsoft formed a corporate development office, and Jaffe joined that division, becoming GM of corporate development in 2000.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Bruce was a consultant and entrepreneur. Jaffe received a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
